Nueva York entró en curva descendente de contagios por Covid-19; asegura gobernador
Andrew Cuomo, gobernador de Nueva York, aseguró este domingo que el estado ya pasó el pico de contagios de Covid-19.
Tras la llegada del nuevo coronavirus a Estados Unidos, Nueva York se convirtió en el foco de la pandemia, con más de 17 mil decesos.
A través de su cuenta oficial de Twitter, el gobernador Cuomo escribió “creemos que Nueva York ha pasado el pico y ahora estamos descendiendo” en números de casos.

Señaló que la tendencia positiva depende las acciones de los ciudadanos, pues “cada uno de nosotros hace la diferencia”.
El gobernador aseguró que se ha reducido la tasa de infección para reabrir la economía de manera segura”.
Adrew Cuomo adelantó que la próxima semana llevará a cabo “la encuesta estatal más agresiva de pruebas de anticuerpos” para conocer por primera vez cuántas personas realmente han tenido Covid-19.

The continuation of this positive trend depends on our actions.

That means that the outbreak is slowing, not growing.
But it leaves very little room for error.
We need the bring the infection rate down even more in order to safely reopen the economy.
